- Add the butter along with the weed, setting the timer for 3 hours.

- Strain the butter to the jar and place the cannabutter in the refrigerator to let it solidify.

This recipe yields smaller batches, and reliably turns ¼ ounce of marijuana into a half cup of cannabutter. You’re going to use dried buds here, without the pre-bake part. - ¼ oz. ground cannabis buds
- ½ cup butter
- Finely grind your cannabis buds
- Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until melted.

- Simmer for 45 minutes and give the mixture a regular stir. Your butter should only pop small bubbles on the surface.
- Pour the butter through a strainer and cheesecloth.
